Jungle Book

Long time no digital art!

Was in a bit of a funk so needed some motivation so came across 's contest to do a piece from a live action movie. I wanted to pick a non-obvious one, so I picked The Jungle Book from 1994. I used to love this movie as a kid then totally forgot about it until I was looking for a movie for the contest! Then looking over again, I saw the love interest Kitty was played by Lena Heady. Cersei from Game of Thrones what! She sure looks beautiful even 20 years older. It also stars Jason Scott Lee, aka voice of David from Lilo and Stitch, and Cary Elwes (Wesley from Princess Bride) as the villain and Sam Neill (from Jurassic Park) and John Cleese (from Monty Python.) If that isn't an all star cast I don't know what to tell you!

So fun to do something just for fun again between work + life. I was looking for inspiration from Alphonse Mucha, and retro posters but I think it kind of looks like a Polaroid. Oh well!
